Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is a native of Minsk which is the capital city of Belarus. Sergey was a player in the hockey league. Aryna Sabalenka, born on May 5, 1998 at Minsk Belarus. She has 12 WTA titles in her career, including that of the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. Also, she is a great doubles player. She's won two more Majors to this category, including the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both with Elise Mertens. With the Belgian tennis champion, the Belgian also took home an award called the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in 2019, thus completing an appearance in the Sunshine Double. The feat was achieved by four couples competing in the women's doubles. In January 2023, she achieved her highest rank in singles. On the 23rd of August, 2021 she was promoted into the top two spot of World rankings. When she played doubles, she managed to push her way to the top during February of that same year, following the win in Melbourne becoming thus the second tennis player from Belarus to be a part of this specialty. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis player, was her coach her during through the season of 2018 until conclusion and the 2020 season. She also briefly teamed up with Dieter Kindlmann from August to September 2020. Since the end of 2020 she's been coaching by her countryman Antonio Dubrov. Her idols include Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
